Travel inspiration

Turkey has been long on the list of place to visit. I wanted a spot that is culturally very different. I wanted a place that I could look around and every detail of the city would look different from what I know. That’s what Turkey did for me. Istanbul helped to keep my heart open to cultures and language and foods. Oh that food! Yes, the food! I found myself writing more about the food and looking for new local favorites to try. I felt inspired by the simplicity of ingredients and the story around it’s journey. I could go on and on about what I tried and saw, but I don’t want to give too much away. . . yet. So here’s a little something to show. This is how it begins.
